here (http://www.newsarama.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=35007)

Check it out, Oeming speaks on the mini, and some of Kolins art is showcased. What do you guys think of this? Personally, i think any old school Avengers related material is welcomed. I thought Earth's migtiest heroes was cool, and with Kolins on board for this as well, i'm in.

Now this looks cool, some nice classic Thor with Oeming writing and Kolins on art.. I hope marvel gets smart regarding Thor and lets Oeming do his take on a classic thor after ragnerock.

Yeah, this looks great. I love Kolin's work in MT-U. I heard that Oeming is a VERY good Thor writer, so I guess I'll be getting this lol.

I just hope this sells well like Earthiest's greatest heroes sold respectably. FF First family too. If these titles do well, it would prove to Marvel that there is a fanbase that wants to see adventures of their favourite heroes based in their past, or re-iterating their past with a modern context or more character emphasis. These types of projects really interest me, and theres a near limitless potential there, pretty much untapped. I for one would not complain at seeing 1-2 minis a year covering a team or a character. That way we get to see more depth on favourites, or characters in action that don't necessarily exist anymore eg. classic avengers., or simply fresh takes. I have the hardcover on EMH ordered and i'm looking forward to this.

I wonder if Marvel is going to have Elric problems. If you know, Michael Moorcock wrote a series of Elric books. As part of a tragedy, Elric days.

However, people loved Elric and thus he has tons of stories shoveled into his continuity in a very short time in his life.

Thus, Thor has been around awhile and one could write tons of stories during his life. It's kind of a cheap thrill though as you know he is going to die/sleep whatever and let Asgard go byebye.
