Donīt forget about Quasar who has managed to defeat a rogue Watcher all on his own. I say he can take Photon(Monica) and Hulk.
How he does against Thor, Sersi or Sentry I donīt know.

and your right about him being powerful. during maximuim security the silversurfer wasn't strong enough to absorb ego but quasar managed it with little discomfort.sorry to keep bringing up ego.

Lmao scarlet witch. I know it must be the sentry, but i'd still regard the Hulk as the msot powerful. Its the Hulk's bag. If the sentry didnt have super-strength, he'd still have his other funky powers. If the Hulk didn't have super-strength, he would just be the dumbest. Thats not cool.

Read Legion of Superheroes to find out how wrong that is. The most powerful guy in that universe is such BECAUSE people don't remember him.
Besides, if something is the most powerful, but is relatively unknown, does that make it less powerful? No. It just makes it less well known.

When you say power, do you mean energy output?
If so...
Able to discharge an almost unlimited amount of energy for extremely long periods of time (i.e. able to lay waste to a planet).

Sentry seems to be the clear answer if you've read up on him. Perhaps only a time traveller can beat him? Otherwise, if there are any limits to his power, it hasn't been established yet.

I can understand Sersi and Photon but the Hulk and Hercules? All they have is strength, Quasar is way more powerful than them.

More specifically, The Sentry has not done anything in an actual book to suggest he's that powerful. Most of his miniseries cited off-panel stuff that's been taken as the gospel on CBR (especially that "holding Galactus to a stalemate" line that's thrown around so much).
Assuming we're talking about characters with a significant and substantial membership with The Avengers, I have to say:
1.) Thor. He's been the gold standard of superhuman might among the Marvel heroes for years, even before he took over Odin's place as king of Asgard.
2.) Quasar. We're talking about a cosmic being not that far removed from Galactus' most powerful herald, The Silver Surfer.
3.) Photon. When utilized to her full potential, Monica Rambeau can give some of the most powerful people in Marvel a run for their money. She can move at the speed of light, alter her body density and discharge powerful energy beams.
4.) The Scarlet Witch. Wanda Maximoff has shown the ability to alter reality itself, given the appropriate amount of concentration. However, The Scarlet Witch has never shown that kind of ability consistently.

Ever.Except for the fact that he's dead and the others are not. ;) Plus if Sentry IS Superman's equal, we already saw Superman take down Thor in JLAvengers.
That said, how awesome would an Avengers mini be featuring the most powerful Avengers ever? Thor, Sentry, Quasar, Sersi, Captain Marvel II, Wonder Man, maybe a couple others...all responding to some mega-threat?

Thor isn't on Zeus level (well, classic Thor anyway).
They did tussle once but Zeus put the smackdown on Thor.
As for a team featuring quasar, thor, sersi, there actually was once such a team.
However, I believe Gruenwald himself wasn't very fond of it because IIRC, "How do you write a situation where those 3 lose?"
True, this was before Morrison's Big 7 JLA which showed you can write great stories involving powerful characters but still, a team consisting of those 3 plus Monica Rambeau AND vision/iron man?

Ok so so far the Avengers the most of us mention as the most powerful are. Thor, Hulk, Photon(Monica), Quasar, Sersi, Scarlet Witch and Sentry.
These are the ones whoīve been mentioned the most times I think.
Now an adventure with them out in space would be friggin brilliant.
