I walked into the bookstore today looking for the most recent Bujold, and passing the new section I found a book I was not expecting, a new Umberto Eco novel.
I'm just not sure what else needs to be said except it covers the cultural history of Italy over the last 60 years. Accompanied by illustrations linking it to the references that are made while the protagonist tries to understand his existance before severe brain damage leading to ultimate memory loss.
Oh and it seems to be about comic books in a large part.
Its made Kieran and I giddy, and now we're fighting over who gets to read it first.
We'll be back with more once one of us has read it fully.
