I used to read some Star Wars novels when I was younger, and am trying to get back into them. Can you recomend me some good Star Wars based books? Thanks.

EDIT: I am interested in the time period both after the movies and the time of the old Jedi.

I'd stay away from the NJO series, but anything by Timothy Zahn is worth a go, and I'm a big fan of the X-Wing series. I also enjoyed the Jedi Academy trilogy, but they're not to everyone's taste. The short story anthologies are mostly good, and I, Jedi is excellent.

i agree with Gaz, but it just irks me how Zahn puts SOME aspect of Thrawn in every book he writes.

X-Wing and Jedi Academy for sure

and Labyrinth of Evil is one of the best SW books i've read in a long time
