According to a report online Mel B. told Britain's GMTV that The Spice Girls will reunite next year for a 10 year anniversary show and greatest hits CD.

Feh.

Everyone knows the real musical apocalypse will occur when Guns N' Roses actually releases Chinese Democracy and we come to find out that Axl ended up going to the 4 other original members of Gn'R and begging them to come back and they did, and recorded the album, and there will be a worldwide live broadcast concert the day the album is released and just as Axl opens his mouth to sing the first note, the earth will be hit by an asteroid and all life on this planet will be obliterated.

And it will be the coolest thing ever.

I expect this news to be as big as the news of the backstreet boys having a new album out.
Which they apprently do have.
Ill be thankful when we can be content to trashing System of a Down and the other shitty bands that actually think they are good, and can ignore the "Musical Acts" who aren't even worth insulting.

Slightly OT: Is there any truth in the urban legend/rumour that the Spice Girls did not officially announce that they had split up because several teenage girls committed suicide after (Boyzone? Take That? some other British/Irish teen pop group?) split up and they were basically told by police/psychiatrists that there would be suicides if they announced a split (so instead they just "faded away")... ?

Probably heard similar about the Backstreet Boys as well...

WAY too quick and nowhere NEAR painful enough.
Does anybody have access to any flesh-eating viruses?
