I knew I was worried over nothing. All the results are back and, aside from my cholesterol and tryglyceride levels, my doctor says I'm in good health for a man of my age and relative inactivity*. Think I'll actually go out of the house this weekend and stir something up. Wheee!
Cei-U!
I summon the enormous sigh of relief!
*The doctor also gave me a severe ass-chewing about going 8 years without a physical.

Congratulations, Kurt. Now go celebrate by doing all sorts of potentially unhealthy - but wonderful - things.

Thanks for the update, Kurt. I wondered just the other day how your physical went. Good to hear you were given a thumbs up.
What did you think of the new doc?

That beats me, it's been 3 years since my last physical (Which was healthy, surprisingly yet again. I guess it's healthy for someone with MD (And the doctor, it was always hard to tell if he was joking when he said "You're healthier than my patients without MD") ).

Kurt should go out and run some people over in his wheelchair as his victory celebration.

No he shouldn't. He should just run over people who he dislikes, like I do. Ok, ok, well I do it "accidentally". Kurt do you do it on purpose or by "accident"?

The doctor also gave me a severe ass-chewingMedical science has apparently advanced considerably in the past few years.

If I run somebody over, trust me, it's no accident.

What did you think of the new doc?
He's never going to be my best buddy but he's a good listener and a straight talker. Gotta respect that.

Glad you got the stamp of approval, Kurt. One less thing on your mind... Now you dedicate all of your stress to comic book continuity like a good geek! :)

Very good news, indeed, K. Thx for letting us know.
I was hesitant to ask in case your silence was due to bad news.

Horray!
Did you get the old "turn your head and cough"?
If so, did he buy you drinks first?

Afraid not. It's *fly's* health, not mine, that's the show-stopper. Next year.

Ronald Bryan has a good idea:
Kurt should go out and run some people over in his wheelchair as his victory celebration.
Do it, Kurt. Do it at a Starbuck's. Do it for koop, man! :)
