I was sitting at work and I surfed onto the forbidden planet website and realised that Frank Miller was signing at Forbidden Planet today in London. I grabbed my wallet made an excuse and jumped on the tube to the Planet.
Met some really nice guys in the que and chatted comics and films whilst waiting.
We noticed that there was a film crew and as we got closer I realised it was a friend I used to act with (who incidently by some weird coincidence had once gone on a date with my sister not knowing she was my sister and she not knowing he was my friend).
i called him and he asked me some sin city questions on camera. Apparently its gonna be on T4 saturday week I think.
Then I met Frank and got a signing. Signings are funny things and while I'm sure people are glad to them after the first hundred fans they must all blend into one.
I asked hom if he was proud of how the movie turned out.
"I better be," he replied. "my fingerprints are all over it"
We laughed
I left
I'm back at work.
