Ripped this one off of SHC; except there it was Voltron vs Godzilla
So who wins the King of The Monsters or the original Power Rangers?
Yes I am talking Zords here.

The Rangers are screwed, pretty much. As bad as the Rangers had it, the Godzilla monsters had it three times as worse and they kept chugging along.

If we were talking American Godzilla, I'd agree, and send the Dragonzord home since even that would be overkill.
But the Japanese Godzilla? Not only is he a fair bit bigger than most Megazords, but the only things the Rangers can do is their funkier, weirder attacks -- like freezing time (TF), speed-blitzing (NS) or summoning a god to deal with Godzilla (WF).
But I think Cyke is right -- in a brute slugging match, most Megazords won't last too long.

What Godzilla we talking about here? If its GMK or FW versions....um...well...the rangers would summon their power sword...and By that time...They would be missing an arm or a leg due to a fire breath attack...now..if its GINO...power rangers take it....Japanese Godzilla Takes the original power rangers

godzilla owns the rangers for free. and if things get tough, he calls rodan. those two took down monster zero and against the rangers, they will turn the zords to scrap.

Hey, if Godzilla gets to call in allies, then the Rangers get to summon Ninjor or Animus or whatever. I already said Godzilla would be hard to beat, let's not cheat now.
It's been shown that Godzilla is a dirty phukkin' cheat as well, in Godzilla X Mechagodzilla, Godzilla isn't above cheap shots and blindsides, and proved very cunning as well as somewhat sadistic; shot Akane and Kiryu in the back with the atomic ray, and in Giant Monsters All out attac, he tricked Mothra into a point-blank beam attack in the face, did the same to Gidorah after asorbing its lighting attack. The Big G fights to win, not to pose around and waste time. Hence,even if the Rangers do summon the Zords, Godzilla might take out certain components and leave a Zord without a torso even before the combination is complete. Take a few seconds to get into polt-device weapon sequence? Godzilla fires off a beam before the sequence gets a chance to be completed.

And lets not forget that Japanese version of Godzilla that took out a very heavily armed Mecha-Godzilla on more than one occasion. Mecha-Godzilla came with some pretty impressive armament that would rival several of the Zords of the Power Rangers, and it was faster than Godzilla was, it could fly like the Zords can, and it did many things Godzilla couldn't that the Zords do, and yet Godzilla won.
I still say Godzilla can take on any of the Zords and win.

Dragonzord does this by it's self in an utterly horrible Curbstomp. This is such a curbing that It makes me expect to see OVERKILL flash in big letters after the death blow is dealt.... Sorta FFX like...

How do you figure? when I babysit my nephew I have to watch Power rangers, the megazord is only a bit bigger than an office building, Godzilla towers above skyscrapers. Going by size alone I figure Godzilla can roast the megazord with one shot o' nuclear death breath.

except Gojira isnt a random monster, HE'S FUCKING GOJIRA.
In an average fight Gojira takes more damage than the dragon zord can dish out and is barely fatigued by it.
Dragonzord gets smelted into a bookend.

But if the Rangers freeze time, or summon a handy god to help them out, Godzilla will be in trouble.

I can never figure Flawless P out. In one thread it's "The Rangers suck so they lose", and then we get stuff like *this* a week later.
Granted Dragonzord is one of the baddess, most powerful zords in the PRU -- but not only is a match with Dragonzord vs Japanese Godzilla* not a curbstomp, chances are Godzilla will break Dragonzord in half.
* -- again, if we put the American Godzilla in here, it's a total curbstomp in Dragonzord's favour, no question.
Eh, I haven't seen Dragonzord pull off the kind of damage that Nuclear breath did on a regular basis.

Let's break down the fights, in order of Godzilla's power levels.
Gino- Lasts until they bust out the Power sword, though he may get it some hits between then and the Megazord forming. Somewhat less of a threat than the usual monsters of the week. Dragonzord doesn't show up.
Cartoon Gino- Still only lasts till he gets nailed by the Power Sword, but gets some hits in and gives more of a fight, due to breath weapon and more fighting expeirence. Slightly more dangerous then the usual monsters of the weak, due to unusually high speed.
Old School Godzilla- Slugfest that ends with Godzilla victorious. Megazord isn't irreperable damaged.
80's-90's Godzilla- Megazord goes down, hard. This version didn't go down to any under a volcano, and he later walked through lava flows without flinching. Has three powerups over the course of the series, each of which screws the Power Rangers worse, and he starts at a point where the Megazord will end up in pieces. The only possibilty for a win is if Billy whips up a damn good plot device, since this Godzilla was never defeated without one. And even then, it was never a permanent win.
Millenium- Took on a machine that outclasses the megazord and was the last kaiju standing. Also took a hit from a minature black hole and killed an alien that was absorbing his genetic structure.
GMK- The only way that the Rangers will even form the megazord is if he's busy mauling the Dragonzord and doesn't notice. The Dragonzord will be destroyed by a shot of Atomic Breathe if it doesn't stay down, and the Megazord won't fair any better.
Final Wars- Haven't seen it yet.

I think the Dragon Zord is overrated. Yes, it was certainly the coolest looking of the originals, but it wasn't super powerful. In its first battle, the T-Rex beat it after a decent fight. Then they formed the Megazord and competly whupped its ass. I seem to recall another fight where it was beating the Megazord after being turned to evil again, but I think the Rangers may have been reluctant to fight.
The drill-tail is nothing like worse than what Old School Godzilla would face against Megalon or Gigan. It *might* draw blood, but it won't be enough. And the finger rockets would be, at most, an annoyance.

My understanding is the strongest showing for any of the combatants at peak powers, unless specifically called out. so whichever is the strongest Godzilla we have seen.

Godzilla beats PR like a bad habit until...WF, MF, and DT.

On Super Sentai however:

Shinkenger's battle will be epic.
