Flipped through this the other day.
If the film itself is even half as imaginative, this'll be great.
And hey! Dave McKean art throughout the entire thing.
Favorite moments include the discovery that there _will_ be at least one "Labyrinth"-style music video sequence...and the revelation that in a low budget fantasy film, the live action reality-based stuff is often far more costly than the special effects-heavy stuff.
"Can we have a scene set at her school?"
"Are you CRAZY? We'd have to build the classroom set, cast a teacher, hire a crud-load of extras to play the other students...why can't we do a scene in which the entire world crumples up like a paper ball? That'd cost next to NOTHING."
