So I was doing a strip for my comic where Eternity was basically mistaken for the Universe by Dr Strange. But then after a bit of reading i discovered that basically Eternity contains the Unievrse so one question..
Is Eternity the universe or not? Cos if he is i have to do another strip to rectify the mistake. I couldnt really find any definite info anywhere.

http://yearone.spiderspawn.com/ if you want to read it..(thats pt2)

And no this isnt just a plug for the strip (but hey, 2 birds eh?)

Eternity is one aspect of the one universe; he is the living embodiment of all. Infinity is his female aspect.

Eternity represents space.

Infinity represents time.

Hence, they together represent the space/time continuum.

As this thread shows, the two haven't really ever been consistently portrayed. I go off of Mark Gruenwald's versions, since I like his work and since Marvel's cosmology was his thing.

Eternity is the personification of all life in the universe. Infinity is the personification of everything else that exists. They've occasionally been seen in a merged form, which presumably represents the whole of the MU. Their opposite numbers are Death and Oblivion, respectively.
