damn id seen some fantasy casting before but never saw anyone put forward those 2 particular names. either one of those guys would be good but itd jus be cool to see charles murphy as cage. murphy is a way under-rated actor

i would've never thought of charlie murphy, bookeem and omar are the only guys that come to mind for me. do you have any other guys in mind besides murphy??

i see epps as being the most likely choice of the three we have chosen. both charlie and bokeem arent exactly blockbuster material to big studios. although charles murphy sounds so street its sick. the dude can sound incredibly street jus watch CB4 or any other charles murphy flick for that matter to hear him talk. i guess hed need to buff up a bit more. epps has gotta be the number one guy for the role though

i'd say epps is the best actor of the 3, but i still have a softspot for bookeem. maybe it was his role in dead presidents that makes me think of him for the part as i would think cages story would have to start in the 70s, and if you've seen "the big hit" you've seen he can bulk up

yeah bokeem was awesome in the big hit.

What ? No mention of Van Diesel ? C'mon , a big musclehead like him would be perfect for the role. ;)

Maybe the Rock can be Cage. :D

yeah but i guess it might not cost so much to make . i mean he doesnt have any shoulder cannons or turbo boots or no stuffs like that lol. hell if they wanna make a big deal of it give the role to epps and if they wanna make it less of a big deal release it straight to dvd like man-thing (oh god) and have murphy or woodbine play cage

I keep thinking Simmons as Steel.

For an older Luke Cage, I could see the guy from Green Mile (can't remember his name) as a good canidate, he's certainly got the build for the role.

Not to mention that he's already gotten an Oscar nod so he is a good actor.

That'd be Micahel Clark Duncan, the Kingpin from Daredevil.
