Anyone else catch this? The murderer wasn't a big surprise to me -- there were really two choices once we saw the secret of the poolhouse bedroom, IMO.

I was a little frustrated that most of the season was a waste, from the standpoint of wrapping up the mystery. There wasn't any reason that Veronica couldn't have gotten through most of this by episode four or five, other than the totally arbitrary move of Beaver suddenly coming forward with marginally useful information for no reason in the final episode.

I can only imagine how difficult it is to structure a mystery over a TV season, but this show seems like they didn't even try.

Having said that, I think this show has tremendous promise and I'm glad it's been picked up for next year.

All I know is that I picked the wrong suspect.

I thought it was Logan and it turned out to be his pops.

Lots of people have given their opinion on the Veronica Mars Thread here (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=20955&highlight=veronica+mars).

This show was one of the top five shows this season for me. Definitely a keeper.

Beaver was willing to lie for Logan when there was another person who confessed to the crime.

Once Koontz was shown NOT to be the killer, then he realized he might actually be protecting a murderer (which he did NOT think beforehand, as he believed Koontz was the murderer, so there was no harm in protecting his pal Logan from an inquiry).

MY nitpick about the finale is the whole bit where Keith tests Veronica's love for him.

Seemed kinda jerky of him.

I viewed that as fear on his part.

I picked the wrong suspect for sure.

The show was the best new series of the year and DEFINITELY in the Top 5 overall for me.

I'm waiting for the season to be over totally before posting my Top 5.

Same here. I didn't see it as a test at all.

But Slappy is right, this thread should be moved into the main Veronica Mars Season 1 thread.
