What angst-filled, pretty girl laden, philosophy rambling, giant robot stomping anime series should be given the unique, refreshing, all-american treatment of Quentin Tarantino?

I'll say Evangelion, because everyone who has watched that series has, at one point, wished that Samuel L. Jackson would call Shinji a bitch (at least).

He can do anything, so long as Roger Avary is writing

Full Metal Alchemist.

I wouldn't want him doing the full series, but a Tarantino written/directed episode of Cowboy Bebop could be fun.

Full Metal Alchemist.

Yeah, there'd be a lot more swearing and violence. But FMA isn't really that angsty.

Although it would be funny to see a Homonculus voiced by Samuel L. Jackson, possibly Gluttony, grilling Ed and Al like in the opening scene.

GLUTTONY
What country you from!

ED
(petrified)
What?

GLUTTONY
"What" ain't no country I know! Do they speak English in "What?"

ED
(near heart attack)
What?

GLUTTONY
English-motherfucker-can-you-speak-it?

ED
Yes.

GLUTTONY
Then you understand what I'm sayin'?

ED
Yes.

GLUTTONY
Now describe what Lust looks like!

ED
(out of fear)
What?

*Gluttony takes his .45 and presses the barrel hard in Ed's cheek*

GLUTTONY
Say "What" again! C'mon, say "What" again! I dare ya, I double dare ya motherfucker, say "What" one more goddamn time!

Tarantino has major blood issues.

Everything he makes has either geysers or fountains of blood shooting out of people.

Whatever the bloodiest thing out there is, that's what he'll like !!!

How about...................

DBZ?

MARRON
It's cool, Bra! It's cool! Don't do a goddamn thing. Videl, it's cool baby, nothin's changed. We're still just talkin', (to Gohan) Tell her we're still cool.

GOHAN
It's cool, Honey Bunny, we're still cool.

BRA
(gun raised)
What the hell's goin' on, Marron?

MARRON
Nothin' I can't handle. I want you to just hang back and don't do shit unless it's absolutely necessary.

BRA
Check.

MARRON
Videl, how we doin, baby?

VIDEL
I gotta go pee! I want to go home.

MARRON
Just hang in there, baby, you're doing' great, Ringo's proud of you and so am I. It's almost over, (to Gohan) Now I want you to go in that bag and find my wallet.

GOHAN
Which one is it?

MARRON
It's the one that says Bad Motherfucker on it.

*Gohan looks in the bag and -- sure enough -- there's a wallet with "Bad Motherfucker" embroidered on it.*

MARRON
That's my bad motherfucker. Now open it up and take out the cash. How much is there?

GOHAN
About fifteen hundred dollars.

MARRON
Put it in your pocket, it's yours. Now with the rest of them wallets and the register, that makes this a pretty successful little score.

BRA
Marron, if you give this nimrod fifteen hundred buck, I'm gonna shoot 'em on general principle.

MARRON
You ain't gonna do a goddamn thing, now hang back and shut the fuck up. Besides, I ain't givin' it to him. I'm buyin' somethin' for my money. Wanna know what I'm buyin' Ringo?

GOHAN
What?

MARRON
Your life. I'm givin' you that money so I don't hafta kill your ass. You read the Bible?

GOHAN
Not regularly.

MARRON
There's a passage I got memorized. Ezekiel 25:17:
"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides
by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.
Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good
will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the
darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the
finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee
with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt
to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know
I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you."
I been sayin' that shit for years. And if you ever heard it, it meant your ass. I never really questioned what it meant. I thought it was just a cold-blooded thing to say to a motherfucker 'fore you popped a cap in his ass. But I saw some shit this mornin' made me think twice. Now I'm thinkin', it could mean you're the evil man. And I'm the righteous man. And Mr. .45 here, he's the shepherd protecting my righteous ass in the valley of darkness. Or is could by you're the righteous man and I'm the shepherd and it's the world that's evil and selfish. I'd like that. But that shit ain't the truth. The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin'. I'm tryin' real hard to be a shepherd.

*Marron lowers her gun, lying it on the table. Gohan looks at her, to the money in his hand, then to Videl. She looks back. Grabbing the trash bag full of wallets, the two RUN out the door. Marron, who was never risen from her seat the whole time, takes a sip of coffee.*

MARRON
(to herself) It's cold.

*She pushes it aside. BRA appears next to MARRON.*

BRA
I think we oughta leave now.

MARRON
That's probably a good idea.

*Bra throws some money on the table and Marron grabs the briefcase. Then, to the amazement of the Patrons, the Waitresses, the Cooks, the Bus Boys, and the Manager, these two bad-ass women -- wearing UC Santa Cruz and "I'm with Stupid" tee-shirts, swim trunks, thongs and packing .45 Automatics -- walk out of the coffee shop together without saying a word.*

Berserk isn't THAT bloody (not compared to its manga counterpart). Now if he were to do volumes 13 through, say 27 it would be insanely violent. Especially the fight against the moth demon.

Besides, the anime skipped volume 11 , which happened to be very violent volume and included a rape scene. The anime only had Caska being raped for all of 4-5 seconds while the manga has it happening for about 2 parts (don't know if i should call them issues or not lol) to complete.

Tarantino goes Pokemon.

Instead of Team Rocket blasting off, they get fountains of blood geysering out of them as multiple Pokemon gash and slash them to pieces.

Pikachu and other Pokemon battle it out and it isn't a submissioin match like usual, it's a bloodbath match all the time until one Pokemon can't stand anymore due to continual blood loss.

The winner bathes in the enemies blood and is rejuvenated in so doing.

Is that the one with the group of assassins and Wyald? While I can see why putting a Wyald anything close to his manga counterpart would be difficult for a TV show to pull off, I always thought it was a shame that the rescue of Griffith was so truncated in the anime. The princess' character got a lot of development in that arc, IMO.

Anyway, I'd like to see his Boogiepop Phantom. I don't know why... I also bet he could make a badass Lupin movie if given the chance.

Yea that was Wylad and the "Demon Dogs" chapters. Plus it actually explains why he doesn't have his normal sword at the ecplipse! And that gets totally skipped over.If you weren't a reader of the manga and just watched the anime you would be like "Where the hell is ihis sword?!?" I know thats what i did. (I watched the anime before ever reading the manga so that was something the confused me.) Wylad just wouldn't due until Zodd killed him and revealed a short stumpy old man.

I can see leaving Puck out because he is not defined by his early scenes in the manga. It's is later parts adding humor to a story that would be too dark at most points.

Why I wouldn't like Q to do Berserk is because from what i have seen from Q is that is a stylized style of combat and Berserk is simply brutal mideval slaughters. I think that Q is enamored with Japanese combat and not mideval europe style of combat. I like the writing of the author/director.

The answer is so obvious: Gunsmith Cats!

Or maybe Noir.
