need help naming an obscure book

its a scary anthology story book for preteens.i read it when i was younger.and i wan't to find it again.

i doubt any of you can probably help me but any help would be welcomed

one story was about these boy/girl scout like campers that was being picked off in the woods.they later found out it was a mounty that was suppose to have been looking for their missing peer.

another story was about a unappreciative birthday boy who recieved a ant farm for his birthday.he didn't like it so he tried to kill them.they spelled out the words hate and die in their farm.i forgot how this one ended

one was about a hermit who was living in a shack.but he was their to guard the outside from something behind his shack.

one story was about this family being terrorized by their own shadow,


so hope someone remember this.

LOL uh-huh no problem.....................i knew what it was when you described the story about the campers.the book is actually part of a series i think there is 10 books in all.
