People,

If we are going to post list in the forums, can we please put where the list came from? For all we know you've made these list out of thin air.

People,

If we are going to post list in the forums, can we please put where the list came from? For all we know you've made these list out of thin air.

It appears to be a list put together by TV Guide (http://forums.toonzone.net/archive/index.php/t-40882) back in 2002.

And while this list is more diverse in time than the movie list from the other day, it's still pretty lousy. It combines scripted prime-time programs with talk shows and kids' shows and TV movies and one-time specials. They even single out one particular episode of SNL, something they don't do for any other show.

The first show that comes to my mind that belongs on the list is the WB's "Off Centre." Egad, that was an awful excuse for a comedy. Here's TV Tome's summary for the second episode:

"When Mike and then Liz contract [crabs], Mike blames the assumed originator---Euan. The irritating malady hampers both Mike and Liz's anniversary dinner and Euan's date with a friend from college."

You can just imagine the hijinks that ensued in that episode (though you probably don't want to).

We are going to nuke him, but since he is a kid, we are going to make them small nukes, 750 meters to 1500 meters max :D

Bay Watch! this is THE WORST, MOST HORRID excuse for a show ever to be perpetrated against humanity! I watched the first episode, because Parker Stephenson was on it, and it took every ounce of strength to get through it. I was incredulous when it resurfaced in syndication. I used to catch the last few minutes of it, because it ran locally before Star Trek: TNG, and it was a horrible few minutes every single time.

After that, Angel's GOTTA be up there!

OH! Once a Hero, that was REALLY bad!

Space Rangers, I think it was called, the cheesy sci-fi show with Linda Hunt?

Yes, Dear My first reaction to this show's ads are NO F!@#%$G WAY!

How many episodes have you actually watched? IM(NS)HO it was one of the best shows ever made.

And after saying that, lists like these are a waste of time. You hate Angel, I love it. These are all personal opinions and just put out to create arguments on the interweb.

Actually, when the show we know and love today as Saturday Night Live debuted, it was called "Saturday Night" because there alrdeay was an existing show called "Saturday Night Live with Howard Cosell".

Oops (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0159205/). If only I'd noticed from the linked-to list that Cosell's show was on ABC...

And it looks like Cosell's show didn't beat SNL by much. His 'SNL' premiered on September 20, 1975, and the one we all know and love began about three weeks later, on October 11, 1975.
