What do you all think about this? I can't believe that a 19 yr old celebrity punk kid, with only four weeks of training, beat a seasoned veteran Thai Fighter in Thailand during the second round. That's a severe blow to the Thai people's pride. They should be embarrassed and ashamed by this. I mean , COME ON? JACK OSBOURNE?!?!?

Meh, stranger things have happened. For all we know he could have scary natural talent or just got super lucky 1-in-a-billion shot in.
Jack Osbourne actually presents the segments after Celebrity Wrestling over here.....well, before it was axed.
Jack became a celebrity of sorts after appearing on the MTV reality show "The Osbournes" with his parents and sister Kelly. He's also made guest appearances on "Dawson's Creek" and "That '70s Show" and leaped to the big screen in the Olsen Twins movie "New York Minute."
Wait...his big screen debut was 'New Work Minute'?!
I hope for the sake of Muay Thai, the fight was rigged.

It's cancelled already?
It's cancelled already?
Yep.
Did absolutly crap compared to Doctor Who in the ratings.
And anyway, the show did suck pretty bad. All it basically was was Gladiators 2005 with D'Lo and John Legend fighting.....every week.
Not even Piper could save it.

Oh it's true. The only thing that all the news sources got wrong was that it was a sparing match. I love how people think that because a large group of people were around to see it, it was an "event".
I'll take him seriously if he fought guys like Kaoklai "Kola", Buakaw, Ramon Dekker or even a friend of mine, Fahad Maniar.

"Celebrity Death Match" ruled, though.

I think the years and years of exposure to drugs have deadened his nerves, making him feel no pain what so ever. Thai fights are often rigged, as they are run by gamblers and they own a lot of the fighters.

You know I shake my head in utter disbelief and just say that it's amazing, its absolutely *mind-boggling.*
When it comes to celebrities, I can understand if Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Jean Claude Van Damme and hell, even Steven Seagal pulling this off with the four week training. But a washed up, goofy, punkass pillsbury dough boy like Jack, who doesn't possess an *iota* of talent like the aforementioned above, shouldn't have lasted a few minutes in a Thai boxing match.
So I'm thinking to myself, who was that little bitch of a seasoned Muay Thai Fighter? Total disgrace I say.

People thought Sean O'Hair was gonna get punked by MMA vet Shungo Oyama because he only did a month's worth of training.
He KO'd Oyama within 33 secs.
I'm not trying to defend Jack. I am saying is anything is possible.

Dive or not, that's pretty sad. I remember the True Life episode on MTV where the two american guys, despite injuries and supposedly 'inferior' training routines, went to thailand and both won against top ranked thai fighters in only a couple rounds each. I guess good old american 'bigness' can go a long way.

And if it was rigged, it doesn't say much for Thai fighting.

I doubt it. I'm proud of Jack. Like the article said he trained hard and lost wait. I'm proud of him although I think he and his sister are spoiled brats, although growing up with so much money one sometimes cant help it. Hopefully this will lead him to better himself and become a nicer person.
