New DC Animated info - Teen Titans DTV movie and "Legion of Superheroes"

The official Greg Cipes webpage has updated their news section with word that "Greg will appear as Beast Boy in the upcoming Teen Titans Movie! The script is complete and is scheduled to begin production in late spring!"

More information on this DTV should become available soon.

An article today in The New York Times states that "'The Legion of Super-Heroes,' about a team from the 30th century, is being developed as a cartoon."

I'm gonna be real pissed off if LOSH replaces the present day DC animated universe.

I really hope that either CN lets JLU go on for a nice long time, or when it ends we'll still get something set in present day. I'd take anything, from a Flash show to a GL Corps show to a Harley and Ivy buddy comedy, I don't care.

I'm really hoping (as I've posted a few other places) that the cartoon has something to do with the current book, instead of the anime looking samples, which were more tied to the pre-DnA Legion. It'd be really nice, if they hired Kieth Giffen to do the model sheets, as his work is really distinctive, and could make a really interesting looking Legion toon.

I heard today, that the show-runner is going to be the same guy who writes Young Avengers which I truly enjoy. He's also said to be a major Legion fan, so the show should be in great hands!
