O.K. No one has posted anything that I've seen about this season's show so here it is. There's only one show left and I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on the show so far?

This is one of the few reality shows I watch. I like it because this seasom it's trying to make the director's dream come true. It's good to know that a reality show can have a positive influence.

I was very happy with the last show...

...in seeing that everyone (from Matt to Ben to Wes to the marketing people) liked what they saw. I'm a little worried about what Bob will think about it. I remember the commentary on the Clerks movie saying that Bob walked out on Clerks the first time he saw it... and it took a lot to change his first impression.

Hopefully everything will work out for John.

As a full time dad, I have very little time for tv, but three shows I watch every week, time permitting are:

1. Mythbusters.
2. American Chopper. (but my interest is waning)
3. Project Greenlight.

I love Gullagher, and his communication skills notwithstanding, he's obviously a gifted storyteller with a real visual sense of life.

I'm actually going to pay to see Feast, a low budget horror movie, so mission accomplished, Bravo.

I'm also glad to see Matt and Ben like the rough cuts. Also, the main actress is just another actress to write off for her prima donna ways.

Y'know, as much as Ben & Matt complained about the script that was chosen I would love to see them come back next season and bankroll the show themselves. C'mon, a 3.5 mil budget? That's pocket change to them. I'd like to see what they would choose.

Shit! The 'Fleck spends more than that on engagement rings!! :D

S'funny how a million dollar car is nothing to millionares but a million dollar spec on a film you beleive in? Nahhhh.

I don't blame the Weinsteins for being choosy-they front a lot of the money.

At this point I mostly just switch to it when whatever I'm watching is on commercials, but I was enthralled through most of the season, when everything was in chaos. As someone who used to have pretty poor social skills and confidence issues, it's nice to see everything seems to be working out ok for Gulager. I actually liked both his girlfriend and his (I think it was) Goddaughter for those parts more than the 'real' actresses who got them.

Also, watch Gulager...his eyes shimmer sometimes like an anime character who's about to cry, kind of get all wavy looking. It's weird if you pay attention to it.

Really enjoying Project Greenlight.

Havent watched the previous 2 seasons, but I can safely say that I have become a fan of the show. Things are looking good for 'ol John Gulager, but only time will tell. Very intrested in seeing what Bob has to say. Doesnt seem too pleased, but thats purely going off of what the advertisements have been illustrating.

Think he upset at being the only one not invited to the screening.

Oh ok.

Kinda like how whats-his-name got upset that Ben Affleck got his own personal private screening, and he wasnt invited...

I like the fact that the 2 leads in the movie are hardly shown at all in the series. Michelle Gertz's backstabbing ass got her friend in it and then PGL never interviewed her. Classic. That, or she has no personality whatsoever, which is possible.

I also liked last week when Michelle came by to say hi and then got shocked when they mentioned her railroad job she did with the studio. SHe came out of this looking the worst IMO.

I agree. And IMO, she deserves every minute of it.

I believe in Karma, and it's funny how she insinuated time after time that she was more qualified for choosing the cast than John (although him wanting to cast his ENTIRE family was getting old quick), and then turned out to make some lackluster decisions herself.

Still boggles me that she was able to get her friend hired even though both the director AND the producer thought the actress in question was just totally wrong for it.

Although, in many ways, this was a unique situation. One she obviously took full advantage of. But ended up making herself look somewhat of a lackluster casting director.

So did that tool finally realized he couldn't hire his entire family? I didn't see any episodes after the one when the guy was like, "If he's thinking about flying to New York I'm firing him."

God, you're SOOOO outta the loop! For one, his girlfriend and father did make it into the film, as the producers and executives did see that they were good actors. But Michelle went over everyone's head to get what she wanted. The film's been screened and the Weinsteins are giving them more money to do reshoots and enhance the look of the monsters.

Damn, Gulager's balls descended, finally, over the course of this process.

Couldn't believe this was the end of season 3, but still, a very positive way to go out.

Must see more of Jenny Wade, who reminds me a little bit of Kathryn Morris (Cold Case).

I like how Gulage evolved over the course of the series. THe way he jumped in at the end and gave that little speech to everyone was great.

I saw that coming, he was asking for it completely.

As a side note, a previous project called "The Prisoner" that didn't make it to the final cut is winding up shooting over at the Nashville state prison. Was this from season 2?

From Variety:

Nip/Tuck star Julian McMahon will play the title character in Prisoner, an independent drama that has just begun production, reports Variety. David Alford and Robert Lynn wrote the script and are making their directorial debuts.

McMahon plays a Hollywood director who is taken prisoner while scouting an abandoned prison for a film location. Elias Koteas plays the jailer; Dagmara Dominczyk, Kim Raver, Rocky Carroll and Tom Guiry also star.

The film is currently filming in Nashville, predominantly at the Tennessee State Prison, where The Last Castle and The Green Mile were shot.

McMahon will next be seen as villain Dr. Doom in Fox's Fantastic Four and is rumored to be on a shortlist of candidates to play James Bond.
