Go to google.com and then type in failure. Click "I'm feeling lucky."

How wierd. I wish Google would keep its political views out of their site...but whatever. :)

Are there any other fun words to put in there?

It's not Google's political views being expressed but rather the way their search engine tech is designed. The reason Bush comes up is because the number one site linked to the pharse miserable failure (by other webmasters, mind you) is Bushie's bio.

Like this: Miserable Failure (http://www.whitehouse.gov/president/gwbbio.html)

If you do a search for "waffles," the first site to come up is Kerry's site.

Thanks for point that out. It was fun! I was entertained for quite awhile as I kept typing "miserable failure" into Google.

It's the simple things in life that make you happy. :)

In addition, the "I'm feeling lucky" button takes you to the number one entry automatically.

there's the "French Military Victories" one, too, for the other side of the political spectrum.

Ha! That's great. The page it links you to is hilarious, "Won, primarily due the fact that the opponent was also French."

Hey, I didn't know how it worked either untill someone explained it to me. Live and learn, right?

And don't be sorry :) It's interesting to see that it's still like that 6 months after the election.
