Yes the day has finally arrived. tomorrow, I tell my family that I am gay/bisexual, and wendsday I will move to Portland, OR. Some of you might not have rembered my earlier thread, I let it die so I could post this. So does anyone have any advise as to how I could make this any easier.
just one question...are you sure you want to do it on Mother's Day?

Are you absolutely sure about that? I do realize that this is an important to you (my husband is bisexual and it's never easy knowing when or if that information needs to be given to anyone, let alone family members) but I am also a mom, and it's sort of nice to have a day that's just about me, not the kids.
That being said, I do hope it goes well when you do tell them. It's impossible to gauge how parents will take announcements about their children that run contrary to what they think they know. I know I can't even get my own mother to understand I don't like sugar on my oatmeal, let alone anything actually important...

All I can say is good luck man. You might be surprised and take it really well. A guy I know came out of the proverbial closet and his friends all thought it was "cool" (not "cool" in "no problem", but cool as in "TOTALLY RADICAL DUDE!") and his parents didn't mind at all (and he stays in a very narrow-minded village).

As I said in the other thread, I can help you get started here in Portland.

I'd help, but I live a little too far southwest of Portland to help (an hour or so, depending on how fast you drive)
