Read it yesterday. Decent superhero fun and quite different than the first incarnation. I like the teen setting for this and the previous Shadowhawks giving advice to the kid. I skipped Blacklight, but I saw the 2nd issue sollicited and changed my mind, want to read that one too.....and after reading this first issue of Shadowhawk I'm glad I decided on picking it up.

I'm glad you did as well! Carlos and I have a lot of fun on this book and hope you'll agree it's worth the cost of admission as the series continues.

BLACKLIGHT is a GREAT book. Scot Wherle and John Toledo are doing some really nifty, and dare I say "new", things with this character. As the letterer, I've got a sneak peak of course, and I'm really impressed with what I've seen. Definitely worth picking up!

Well, I read and enjoyed ShadowHawk #1, it seems like it'll be a pretty good superhero title, although I think it may be better one things are sort of 'established', you know like a rogues gallery and maybe some allies, that kind of thing.
One thing I found really interesting is the ghosts of the previous Shadowhawks dispensing advise, and how it may not necisarily be sage advise i.e. that 70s Shadowhawk wanted Eddie to kill Blacklight!

Then Eddie ended up killing Blacklight anyway! Hell!! Guess Eddie can kiss his friendly relationship with the police goodbye.

That is all.
