Well, I not the greatest photographer in the world (ok I'm a pont and shoter) so the flash flooded the shots. Anyway guessing is half the fun. I just wanted to give an idea how large my collection is. The pictrues doesn't inculde the ones hiding under my TV or my LDs.
I too would like to see how others keep theirs. I've been toying with the idea of conventing a closet into a DVD storage unit but I don't have a spare one.

Yep...that's it. I don't buy a lot of DVDs because once I buy it that means I won't ever watch it again. At least that's the way it seems most of the time. I've probably only seen the above movies 2-3 times since I first bought them. Meanwhile, if I catch it on television midway, I'll watch the movie.

I save tons of money by not buying every single DVD I would like. If they weren't so ridiculously expensive I'd buy more.

I was waiting till I hit 2000 dvd's then I was going to make a post boasting about it, but I am an impatient man.
My current dvd total is 1895.
Not as impressive a figure as 2000, but impressive none-the-less I feel.

I have just taken pictures to prove this but I have NO CLUE how to put them up here. I dont have a website to post a link to and I dont know how to insert an image in my post. If someone would like to tell me how then I will be happy to prove it.

That's a bit excessive.ummm...no offense, but by what standards? i've seen DVD collections that dwarf that one (not that it matters, or makes that one less significant), but if someone wants to buy DVD's to watch 'em, so be it.

i have between 800-900 DVD's-some Oscar winners, some "B" movies, cult classics and you know what, i plan to watch every one of them at some point. it's like having your own personal Blockbuster or Netflix and i can watch whatever i want, whenever i want. i also love making copies for friends and family and i know they appreciate it. i just love sharing my love for movies.

i think a lot of people like myself have for the most part given up on televison and have chosen to replace it with movies. end of rant.

for some reason when i look at ebay stuff then see the cost of shipping it the price looks like the same as if u got it in stores lol... but i dunno.. im not a ebay user

Just got to be smart about your buying...sometimes you have to look in different places, and do the numbers in your head to get for cheap. The deals are most certainly there.
