Well, I've only seen clips, but what I heard is:

1. Luna the CG cat is distracting.
2. It is not, in any form, high drama.
3. Fairly fun for the camp value.
4. Features an Evil Mercury arc.

Pure. Comedy. Gold. I mean, how do you make a story arc out of the team's weakest, most useless member going rogue? :p That's like Buffy doing a Dark Willow arc before she learned magic, or before we were even introduced to the evil vamp Willow.

Unless you are a die hard Sailor Moon fan, this is either crap of pure MST3K making fun of material. I think only people that have a copy of the live musical and watch that over and over will like this. At an anime panel a fan once played it for the panel... *shudder*..

They should've made Mercury's hair a darker shade of blue,the others look good amd let's all remember what settai teams looked and sounded like before the power rangers came along and became what they are today.

Mamo-chan looks goofy as hell as Tuxedo Kamen! I wonder does he ever become Moonlight Knight? :D His Prince Endymion costume kinda looks like that.Does he have a transformation scene? is there any chance in hell of this making it to the states? Or at least a high quality bootleg version???

The show went on for 50 episodes, the average for any half-hour live-action show in Japan, as of last year. There may be another season later on this year.
