Hello,

For the past two months, I have become an avid fan of The Daily Show With Jon Stewart. I'm not a right wing, left wing, liberal, democrat or whatever you get branded with cause you disagree with somebody's political views. I think I just get to hear point of views and newsclippings that for some reason, you won't find on CNN or any other network. Gee, wonder why???

Anyway, one of Stewart's guests was the author of One Nation Under Therapy : How the Helping Culture is Eroding Self-Reliance. I operate a business that is full of physcholigists, psychotherapists, social workers and other types of people who always know what is best for somebody.

I've been curious to find out what others have to say before I decide to plunk down my hard-earned money for this book. The reviews that are presently found on Amazon.Com (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0312304439/qid=1114794991/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/104-1310047-4178359?v=glance&s=books) are less than helpful. I even suspect that they were written by those whose jobs are in the therapy field.

And when half of the votes on these reviews are split in half, Sommers and Satel must be on to something, right?

Thanks,
- Brian

I saw the interview too and she definitly had some good ideas. However I'll probably just try to find the book at my local public library.
