I haven't had much free time this week, haven't even made it to a comic shop to peek at what is new. Yet hopefully others have.
So what'd you get? Any hidden treasures everyone should look for?

The only shop I've made it to this week is the CD store, where I turned in a bunch of used to CDs. Among the purchases:
Sprinsgsteen, "Devils and Dust"
Ben Folds, "Songs for Silverman"
Kasey Chambers, "Wayward Angel"
Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros, "Streetcore" and "Global A Go-Go"
Dave Matthews Band, "Live at Red Rocks"
Twilight Singers, "Blackberry Belle"
BoDean, "Best Of"
Tommy Stinson, "Village Gorilla Head"
Doves, "The Last Broadcast" and "Some Cities"
Elvis Costello, "The Delivery Man"
Wilco, "A.M."
and a really curious compilation called "Back 2 Back" featuring five songs by The Raspberries and five songs by The Babys. Kind of a neat idea for bands whose "greatest hits" only fill, well, half an album.
As far as comics, Greg Land hooked me up with a copy of Red Sonja #0 (lovely art!) and gave me a peek at his first Ultimate FF issue, which looks terrific. Dark Horse was also kind enough to send a care package my way, with stuff like Sock Monkey, the Goon, the Escapist, and the absolutely gorgeous Conan and the Jewels of Gwahlur.

You're one up on me, then. I still haven't seen of copy of Blade of Kumori #5.
And I'm rather partial to Maria McKee.

So am I. I like her music too. :D
I was supposed to be seeing her in Philadelphia during WWPhilly, but I found out yesterday that her show's been postponed. DAMMIT ALL! Would've been my first time seeing her.

Back to Best Buy today, and grabbed the Star Wars soundtrack, new Nine Inch Nails and new Ryan Adams.
Even made it to the comic store: Captain America #5, Ultimate Secret #2, Batman Dark Detective #1, Shanna #4, Ult FF #18. Man, that McNiven stuff is gorgeous ... to think, I knew him when ... but jeez, could something HAPPEN?
