I am building a new site dedicated to Marvel Characters, but I need some help!

I have added bios for a few of the major players, but it can be a daunting task.

Would you guys be willing to lend your expertise?

Thanks!

The time involved has kept me and others from doing similar sites. Maybe rather than reinventing the wheel you could partner up with one of the existing sites, such as Marvel Directory.

Many half-complete sites on their own can't be nearly as good as one more complete site with multiple resources behind it.

Or better yet, maybe acquire a file from the person who ran the Unofficial Handbook of the Marvel Universe (the one that's been shut down for several months). His was the most complete Marvel resource concerning major characters, and was excellent in tandem with the Marvel Appendix.

Funny you should say that! He (Danny) approached me! I consider myself extremely fortunate that he thinks my project to be worthwhile! I hope to be working very closely with Danny (the creator of the unofficial handbook) in the coming months...

Even with such a great backbone to rely on... We could always think of ways to improve! I have plans to make my presence known to Marvel Directory in efforts of building a connection between our two communities.

Good luck. I unfortunately don't have the time to help now, but depending on how you plan to keep entries updated, I might considering accepting responsibility for updating a set of characters as they appear.

The site is a wiki, so you actually have the ability to log in and edit the content as you see fit. Check it out...

In fact, you dont even need to log in to edit! (But its best if you do, for credit) Credit, where credit is due is what I always say!

Thanks to anyone who is willing/able to help!

Good Luck Batai.

But as Mattbib said, it takes alot of time.

And a commitment to keep it going.
