Anyone who has read any of my previous threads about my daughter knows that I think she's got a great sense of humor, but this one takes the prize.

This morning, while getting ready for school, she pointed out a piece of her homework to me. It was a word-search, and since I've jut had 10 of the *expletive deleted* things as homework for the class I'm taking, I told her I never wanted to see another one of them as long as I live.

She replied that a word-search for a "Growth & Human Development" class (which is the new PC term for Sex Ed.) is just wrong. Then she looked at me very seriously, cocked one eyebrow and said, "Hmmm... Where's that penis? I know it's around here somewhere!"

I almost choked I laughed so hard.

Kids, gotta love 'em!

She definitely has a point. :D

On the other hand, a word search for sex terms is probably a winner, where some kids are concerned. Hee.

Thanks for sharing, Jayna---cool story. :)

EDIT: When Rin had some science class, one of their assignments had to do with analyzing peanuts... weighing, etc. The teacher was hispanic, and the way she said "peanuts" came out sounding like "penis." Which, of course, made many of the kids do anything and everything to get her to say the word.

Choice phrases included:

"Weigh your penis."

"No No! Don't play with the penis!"

"Do not EAT your partner's penis!"

She said the kids were laughing so hard, they could barely do the work.

Substitute the word "clitoris" for "penis" and I think the ladies would agree that you'd have a more accurate statement. :D
