I just picked up issues 1-3 and this is a great comic. The only problem is that the art is subpar. However, I love the story and I'm now sold on the main character.

Anyone reading this?

This book has been a pleasant surprise, though I like the art just fine.

I'm gonna try and fit it into my list soon but I'm on a fixed income. There are alot of good Vertigo and WILDSTORM titles that a large group of people ignore. It's pretty hard to understand IMO.

Bad artwork is a dealbreaker for me these days, but that looks pretty good. It's stylized, not photo-realistic, but there's some very nice detail work there.

I've enjoyed it a great deal so far, but I'm not wild about the art, either. I would have liked to see more detail, particularly in the historical segments. Michael Zulli would have been a good guy for this, as would John Ridgway, the first Midnite artist
