This art can be new or old and in any medium. If it's an old piece please indicate approximately when it was created. And please feel free to comment on others' work, BUT remember, this isn't art class and all posters are encouraged to participate regardless of talent. Unless specifically asked for negative comments are not appreciated and will be reported to the moderator to be deleted. The next Draw Me An X thread will be posted in the coming weeks. So have fun and take your time!

Here's my version of the Outback team all possessed by Malice.
That's amazingly sexy! Rogue's uniform is especially excellent. You should do a Storm and/or Carol Danver in that outfit, sans the face cover thing. I bet both would look amazing in it. It trumps all four of Carol's costumes and most of Storm's as well--if not all.

i think you are referring to moonstar. she wore a mask when she was part of the mlf, and according to when this was drawn, she appeared as such at the time.

not a drawing, but some thought went into it creatively (as much as dragging images in ms paint can support). chamber would be the focus of the book, as in his furthered growth and etc. he could be the "kitty pryde" i guess. sage and emma on opposing sides. havok and bobby agree to disagree often as well. there is also the iceman/emma thing going on too.

I'm not a usual X-poster, and I'm comin' late to the party, but can I still play? :)

The boys in the chat room convinced me to come post this here. It's a birthday card I drew for a girlfriend's little brother way back in '93 (note the Jim Lee influenced hair). Sorry the corners are cut off. The darn thing was so big, I had to reconstruct it out of two 11" x 17" color photocopies (I gave the little brother the original, of course).

Oh, and feel free to make lots of fun of a certain Miss Lee's unintentionally badly placed frosting-covered finger. I didn't even notice that until it was all finished and someone else pointed it out to me. :o

Grown up Pixie and *ahem* Dryad. :)

Pixie has curves and traded in her pixie dust for size changing powers (I don't care if she reminds you of a certain ex-Avenger ;)) and Dryad has tiny vines growing under her skin on her face--something I thought that made a cool trademark.

I also have a picture of the Sisters Vale (Preview and Network) grown up in front of a bus, but I liked this one better.

Anyway, I was at Comic Candy and figured I should play around and try to develop my coloring/shading skills in Photoshop. It's a VERY weak attempt (Wolverine...yeuch, I got lazy!) but I kind of love the way Beast came out. Any suggestions from people who color in Photoshop often?

I was going to put Mystique in her own DMaX thread but it's been deleted, so nyeh. Rogue is already up in her DMaX thread, but I figured I'd throw the both of them in here together, as I drew them together anyway.

I didn't intend to color and scan this at all, and so Mystique came out a little bad (along with Rogue's costume) because of my sketchy lines (which I go overboard with). White is hard to color, too, so I went with off white. I like Raven's hair, though, because long and pompous hair isn't in comic book style these days anymore.

This is VERY nice! I love that David's there he looks great, Match's costume is neat too! Wolf Cub has grown up very feral! I also love what you did with Loa, she's probably my fave in that pic.

I have to say though I don't like what you did with Surges costume or Anole I'm afraid =( He should always be the slender acrobat, like the Nightcrawler of the next generation...he looks way too "Village People" for me here...also why did you go with Rockslides more human look over his new look?

It's a really awesome pic though, always glad to see love for New X-Men!

Holy freakin' crap CE_Rap, that piece is AWESOME! The details, the facial features, the power effects, almost everything really. The only things that are a bit off to me (I'm not an artist or anything, I just thought it was worth pointing out) are Sabretooth, since his mouth takes up a huge portion of his face, and how Mystique is posed (her torso, or is it abdomen?). Other than that though, jeez louise your art is fantastic.

The spiky/fragmented look you gave Iceman works very well.

Sam looks great with his goofy grin.

Sabretooth isn't very proportional with his huge mouth and hand, but he still does look quite beastial.

Mystique is looking very sneaky and devious, as she should.

Cable looks like he's about ready to shoot someone in the face. :eek:

And Rogue, wow, Rogue looks menacing, and commanding at the same time. I especially like the fire effects on her.

You should definitely show this to Mike Carey at his blog, if you haven't done so already. :D

This is my first actual painting from Painting class this semester. For this we have to integrate collage with paint to create a piece that was based around the form.

Mine was a commentary on the impossible standards that comic books and other pop culture media place upon the female body. I took images of Emma Frost, Mystique, and Jean Grey, pasted them down, and then painting a mirror image of them on the opposite side, but in basic geometric shapes as a way to display the standard shape of women.

I'm sorry that the quality of the photo is really bad. I'll try to upload a better one sometime.

While I LOVE your costume designs, I think you should do it a la X-Factor, with the costumes from the comics (YUMMY Silvestri's Rogue!). And add human Maddie Pryor as well! Unless it's too much work! :smile:

I always liked this idea, and I was in full support of having a whole book made up of B and C list X people around the world doing their thing. However, the X-Corps concept was made moot by stupid “M-Day”. But, at least most of the Paris branch ended up in X Factor, and most of the other characters are doing something in X Books. Except Feral, ‘cause she’s been eaten.

Your team is good :smile: Them being together again stood out for me the most
But overall, good team. :smile: Feral, I'm on the fence with. I liked her nasty attitude, but disliked her for slashing someone's throat. Overall, she would seem like the comedic relief on the team, plus I could imagine her and James interaction, James backhanding her again, lol, or her calling everyone stinkin' meat. Overall, your team is good though :smile: just giving my $0.02
