This is from the Magazines section of the latest Previews catalog for May.
And I instantly recognized the cover illustration on this mag from a book I once read a long time ago.
There were mixed reviews on the book--it was considered either very good or very bad.
The bad from people who gravitated towards the more realistic and real-world storytelling, failing to read between the lines so they saw it nothing more than an amateur's attempt at silliness. However people who were able to get past the quirkiness of the story recognized the psycho-social commentaries of people, interactions, and our society.
Personally, I found it a light-hearted and very fun read.
Anyone one else know this book from which this picture originated and has read it?
