I haven't read the interview (don't want to) but if you read Austen's X-men, Milligan's X-men adn Claremont' Uncanny, they are doing quite well in on that front.

When asked to name any mistakes he has made as editor, the only one he can think of was when he got an artists name wrong at a convention?!?!
Is he taking the piss?!?!

I'm really glad that Uncanny has been showing other cast members in cameos or as guest stars. It makes the X-Universe feel a bit more cohesive. That said, why the hell did they have to draw Beast with those crazy catlegs again. Pick a leg style, and stick with it. I prefer the normal legs he's been sporting in Astonishing, and want them to be the universal version shown. God, I can't wait til he's normal again. :p

I suppose Mr. Marts "forgot" that I informed him that Tessa is not a new character, although she was new as Sage; she's not a new character at all. That was one huge unexcusable editorial gaff that's hard to forget.

Marts has made other editorial mistakes too.

Also, just curious, but what is it with you and saying something stuff about whatever writer realizing or not realizing that there are others at the mansion, fishtaco? I think it's pretty clear to us now which writers do and do not. =/

FiI'm so glad Uncanny has appearances by other characters. I love it, and I love the team right now, except for Bishop and X-23. Get rid of them. Send Bishop to another team. And get rid of Wolverine too. I guess that's why I like the team right now. I just wish Nightcrawler, Kitty, and Colossus were all together again, and possibly in Uncanny after HOM. That's be cool. Storm, Psylocke, Nightcrawler, Kitty, Colossus, and Marvel Girl. I guess they'd have to keep wolverine in it though, since Marvel thinks that Wolverine sells every single book.

It's a better fit to have him as a cat. I think cat beast, I think dignified, elegant, tragic. I think ape beast, I think of that goon out of the cartoon series. He's the only devolver on the team, and that's a nice theme to have lying around.

I agree with DDM on that mistake. Marts had no idea that Sage was Tessa. This guy does not do his job.
