Rozen Maiden (http://www.anime-planet.com/animerec/803.html) is a gothic shoujo anime about a teenager named Jun who locked himself away from the rest of the world and his master, living doll name Shinku. The first season starts off slow with various other dolls coming to live with Jun and his sister Nori. Later, it gets intense with an evil doll and a contest called the Alice Games. Currently, there's only 12 episodes of Rozen Maiden with a second season in production.
