Okay, I finally bit the bullet and got a membership.

There's already something like 160 discs in my queue. Coming first is DEADWOOD: SEASON ONE.

I like this system a lot. It's convenient, AND the selection includes a lot of TV shows I've been meaning to see. I've got at least a half-dozen British comedies and crime shows I've been hearing about for years lined up.

My only complaint is that it's by the disc...I can see why they do that, but it's a little annoying to have an extras-disc shipped separately, and have that take up space in your queue.

BUT: This looks like a great program, and hopefully it'll curb my insane DVD spending.

Anyone else on this? Any recommendations? Any advice for using the program?

Ive tried a few different companies in England - Screen Select and WeLoveFilms ... both start out promisingly with a quick turnaround - and then they get bigger and the service deteriorates into an absolute farse! :(

Hoping Netflicks is better!

Recommendations?! Rahxephon - stunning slice of anime that turns on a sixpence constantly. Became one of my fave anything's ever.

Likewise stdio Bones did Vision Of Escaflowne before they did Rah - and it's a fantastic slice of storytelling pie! As it goes towards the climax rugs just keep getting pulled and it gets better and better.

Movie wise...

Saved is the best film i've seen in ages - lil indy low budget affair, but within that the best teen flick since Mean Girls. The script is sharp, the cast are fabulous and I absolutely adored it!

Undead was a giggle, which i've whacked a thread about elsewhere!

Enjoy! :)

I subscribed to Neflix and really liked it....never had a single problem, and the mailing turnover was quite quick.

I'm a Netflix user. We've had it for about three years and have never had a problem aside from the occassional broken disc which they replace if you ship it back marked as such.

My only complaint is the poor organization of the site. You pretty much have to know what you want to watch before you can find anything. Otherwise its great.
