It was a fake solicit for Astonishing 5 or 6. People were led to believe that Phoenix would return, so the identity of the real returnee would be more of a surprise.

It wasn't really even afake solicitation. That was a wallpaper put up on Marvel's site to throw us off track on who was being brought back, since all the speculation at the time was around Jean and Colossus.

It wasn't even a wallpaper originally. The page was 'accidentally' leaked on Mile High Comics' website. It caused a massive buzz, and then was 'corrected' by the real page. It caused quite a few people to believe that MHC had posted a page that wasn't yet to be seen. It helped the return of Colossus remain secret a while longer, since most people were expecting Phoenix. :)
