The latest Image comp box came to the house today, for books due out this coming Wednesday. It's a good batch. Two Kirkman books are included:
THE WALKING DEAD #18 fulfills the promise of issue #17, big time. There are big problems lurking, and there's another great cliffhanger.
INVINCIBLE #22 is the most talkative issue, ever. Seriously. Kirkman thanks the letterer (Rus Wooten) in the letters column for going above and beyond the call of duty on this issue. I like it a lot.
SPAWN #145 is much like the previous 144 issues.
THE IRON GHOST #1 is the new Chuck Dixon World War II comic, with art from Sergio Cariello. Haven't had the chance to read it yet, but it looks readable.
I might be expanding on these reviews for Tuesday's column.
