Okay, continuity fans, here's a challenge for you: Pick any person, place, or thing from the Marvel Universe, and explain it to someone who's never heard of Marvel Comics before in twenty words or less. Out of generosity, I won't include the name of the thing you pick in the word limit. I'll start:
Battleworld: A mosaic planet created by the godlike Beyonder as an arena for Earth's heroes and villains to fight in.

Jessica Jones: A former teen heroine, and orphan, who was traumatised and decided to be an alcoholic PI then journalist instead.

Heh, none at all but I was just rereading the Magneto War trade and the line about Joseph just being "a toaster with great abs" or something to that effect had stuck in my head.

Toxin: Spawn of Carnage, Spawn of Venom, alien parasite Spiderman rejected that he obtained in other Galaxy during superhero tornament booyahh.
