I read that a while back there was a big Superman relaunch with Jim Lee as the artist, and the same team is still on Superman today. Has that run of Superman been worth reading? I've never read a Superman comic before, but I love Lee's art.

Alot of people are very unhappy with Superman's characterization by Azzarello in this arc . It isn't a relaunch ...just a 12 issue storyline set 6 months or so ahead but in the ongoing Superman title . Me ...I'm just wondering where the story is going . I love Lee's art so have stuck thru it but it's been slow going . The last issue is due out soon .
I'm not a Superman fan, but as a consumer I have to say no. The story is convoluted and weird. If you like Jim Lee's artwork half the story is collected in hard copy. I did like a few issues 208,210 and 211 featuring members of the Justice League. 211 has a nice fight between Superman and Wonder woman. Lee does her great justice. Hopefully Wonderwoman will get a 12 issue arc done by Lee. And 212 features Superman and Lois. It really is touching. Of all the issues I've seen on the stand, I noticed that one flew off the shelf pretty quickly.

No. Pretty art... boring and craptastic story.
Save your money and support better titles like Manhunter or Birds of Prey. Also, John Byrne and Gail Simone will be doing Action Comics soon... grab that instead.
