I do recall reading about (and later on reading) that some manga artist wrote a Batman story. Story itsellf was pretty good (Bats headin' off to Japan to find out why druggies were turning into carbon copies of his Rogues Gallery).

And, since someone deserves to be shot mentioned Sagaido, I shall bring up Nekoti Mei, mainly because dang-nammit, for a hentai artist, his art is professional-quality good.
