Are other people allowed to post here? I clicked on every picture you posted and definately see a sharp improvment from your early 90's stuff, except curiously for the Mystique picture you say is from 94 but looks better than the other stuff from that same time period.

That Mystique was done differently as I was looking at a Madonna poster when I drew it, so the anatomy wasn't something coming out of my head.

Here's a new one I did for DMAX: Magneto. It was a pretty quick sketch (drawn and inked in about 30 minutes) so given that time limit I'm pretty happy with it. I've never been great at cross-hatching or line shading, and I'm not familiar with most musculature yet (though I have a good book that's helping). I hope to color this once I get Photoshop again.

Here's my Warpath entry for the current DMAX-Jam.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v467/mattbib/My%20Drawings/warpath001.jpg

I did make a version in my usual style, though if I weren't drawing this for a Jam I'd probably have made it more dynamic.

I can't believe it's been so long since I've drawn anything.

Here's a Darkstar I did for the current DMAX-Jam, followed by a version in my black background style.

And here's a Spiral I did some time ago. I still want to fix the head placement and color it though.

I enjoyed looking over your thread. lots of good work here. I like the way it goes back to your youth.

Here's an Arachne I did long ago...back when she was still Spider-Woman. I used the same pose that I used for a Mystque drawing, found previously in this thread, that I had copied from a poster.

And here's a Phoenix redesign I drew not too long ago, but just scanned and colored tonight.

Great job on both. I particularly like the "ab definition" on the Phoenix one.

I hate the feet, but I'm pretty happy with the rest. Will probably do a more graphical drawing of her later.

I drew this as a potential logo design for my sister's boss' new seafood catering business...

I realize I left off the fins, but they're to the rear anyway. And I can add them if he really wants them. He also wanted a chef's hat, but I left that off as I thought it looked cheesy.

I like the logo a lot matt.

Just a suggestion - you might want to try a more "cartoony" style for your superheroes . . . . it seems the quality of your work takes a huge leap when you adopt that style.

Here's my entry for the current Avengers Jam...Silverclaw. It's okay for a rush-job. I still need to learn to color better.

I HATE Perez's design of her so I took some liberties and removed a bunch of the clutter.
