Well, I went through the 19 odd pages of this forum and didn't find anything, so....

It has taken its time, but the Hunter X Hunter manga has finally made it Stateside. The first volume covers up to the swamp in the Hunter's test. Forgot how quickly the manga moved in this part, when compared with the anime.

So, how long before good ol' Hisoka starts showing up in fights in Rumbles again? :)

Seems just fine to me. Gon's father is Ging (thought it was Gin in the scanslations), but that's the only noticeable name change. Kurapika is as ambigous as ever. Hisoka still has the card suits at the end of his sentences. Maybe some blood editing, but I doubt it.

So, yeah, a good job.

There's a reason why it's Ging which won't be important until quite far down the road, which gives me hope because it means they're paying attention to what happens later. Excellent.

How far is the series in japan so far? Ive seen up to the point where they are about to get the Coastline card on Greed Island? how much more is left lol cuz Im digging it and don't want it to be just done

They are past the Greed Island arc, and nearing the conclusion of the Chimera Ant arc (which, frankly, has been dragging on way too long).

Well, apparently the art is still decent when not in the weekly publication (aka, once its collected, since he takes the time to go back and clean everything up).

That was true to a certain extent, but it still wasn't as good as it was earlier on.

Why couldn't they had hold off for awhile? I was up to 6 September 1 where they were still trying to get that Hunter game and now I have to wait until they catch up and spend money. Life's just not fair. Oh well, I'm glad it's doing well.
