I am currently using Avant Browser, and the reason I switched to it is because on every other browser currently installed on my PC, I am unable to see the new post/quick reply/quote buttons on the CBR forums. I can't see poster avatars either. Tried IE, tried Firefox, tried Opera, all of them have the same problem. Does anybody know what the heck is going on?

I'm using Firefox, and I have no problems. Perhaps your anti-popup controls are too restrictive, or there might be something in your "User CP" option here on CBR that needs tweaking. Good luck.
EDIT: Do have Norton or McAffee running as well? They might be too restrictive and not allowing you to see the avatars.

Those items you can't see happen to all be images. If it's happening across the board different browsers, it's more likely something outside the browsers is blocking the images.
I have a program called SpyBlocker installed on my computer that blocks out ads, cookies and spyware type stuff that sometimes works too well and just blocks some (not all) images on some sites that it thinks might be ads. Although with SpyBlocker, I can see the images on this site. Maybe you have something similar on your machine.

Mmm. But why isn't my current browser affected then?
Also, other images on CBR aren't affected. I'm using ZoneAlarm as my firewall, if it matters.

Hmmmm. Perhaps the other images are different file formats (.gif or .jpeg or whatever). Also, sometimes Flash animation gets messed up -- does that happen on yours as well?
ZoneAlarm may be selective in what it "allows" through. I'm not familiar with the product, but it sounds like it could have something to do with it.

Hmm. Weirdly enough, other vBulletin powered forums don't have this problem when I'm using Firefox to view them.
I don't really have to worry about this, since I have a browser that functions well and fine, but it bothers me that I don't know what's wrong.
