I still keep in touch with an old supervisor of mine at Medline. Today, we just found out that her younger 19 year old son passed away this morning from a car accident last night. She is still with our company and was a great boss. She has three adult children. The thing that really sucks, is her husband died of cancer about ten years ago. So now, she's lost a husband and a son.
So, please say a little prayer for Carole Manion and her family. What are the odds that double tragedy happens to a family besides The Kennedys? Jeeze. Puts things in perspective you know?
Thanks guys.
Sorry to hear that. That's awful.

My thoughts go out to her. In regards to the double tragedy, a few years ago, one of my best childhood friends and his father were in a car accident. The father was killed, my friend seriously wounded with head, hip and leg injuries. The physical injuries healed, but the emotional trauma lingered. My friend became despondent and eventully took his own life. Being an only child, he left his mother all alone in this world to mourn her husband and her son.

About three years ago A close personal family freind died, then my dad's god father, then my aunt and last but not least my grandma was in the hospital for a couple of weeks,on what we thought was her death bed."Not another death! Please god, not another one!" My mom said to her self crying.Lckly later on my grandma made a "meraculis"(spell wrong)recovery,I guess god her my mom's prayers and actually listend for once... ,the point is is that every family no matter who they are all go trew there up's and downs.Right now my grandma is fine and doing great,I'am almost certain that your co-worker will be fine after some time alone and some emotional healing from her loved ones.Your friend has my prayers!

I'm very sorry to hear that, Nikita. You're right; it does put all kinds of lesser problems in perspective.
