Hi,

Anyone know anything about the English magazine "Warrior Magazine" ?

Alan Moore wrote V for Vendetta for it. I am trying to figure out when "V for Vendetta" started and when it ended in the magazine. I think the magazine ran for 25 numbers, was "V fo Vendetta" running through all those numbers ?

Does anyone have "Warrior" magazine in their posession ?

Thanks for the help.

I've got a few issues of warrior it was a great mag.I haven't got the entire run but looking at the back issue ads it seems "v" was running from issue#1.
I've also got issue 26 so it must have run longer than 25.
Sorry I can't be more help but I haven't got them all to hand at the moment.

Mile High's website shows the covers and first few pages of most of Warrior's issues: click here (http://www.milehighcomics.com/cgi-bin/backissue.cgi?action=list&title=94271362106&snumber=1).

Thank You for the links guys.

So, someone is trying to sell me a Warrior magazine run from #2 up to #18 and he says that it contains the whole run of V for Vendetta, guess that isn't true then, according to the links you gave me V for Vendetta started in number 1 and went all through to number 26 and even then it doesn't look like Alan Moore got to complete te story in Warrior magazine or did he ??

Do you also know if it is printed in black and white ?
The guy is asking 40 dollars for these numbers alltogether, is it worth it ?

Love to hear your advice.

Your right "V" was never completed in the pages of Warrior. All the stories are in black and white (I personally prefer them that way)and are generally 6 pgs long.as for the price you were quoted I'm not sure perhaps some out there as some idea of what they are worth.

Yeah, V was in all the issues and the books are b&w. Dez still has most issues for sale, though the bulk lot you mention from this other guy is a fairly cheap price. Dez still has copies of #1 priced @ £5.00/$7.50 as listed on the old site, and I think you'll be able to use PayPal when the site gets a revamp. (Stay tuned, as they say...)

The completed V story was published in colour as a tpb that's sold on ebay pretty often, if that's your preference. There was some other good stuff in Warrior, though...

I allready have the tpb. but yeah the comment about the "other good stuff" in the magazine might get me over the line. I'm a fan of Alan Moore and I was looking to buy the whole released V for Vendetta series( the loose numbers) when this guy over at my comicshop approached me with this offer.

I can't afford to buy both of them so I have to make a decision, wich is more of a collectors item. I'll sleep over it one night.

Comapre the prices for the two series at Mile High's website. Personally, I'd go with the Warrior comics. They also have Alan Moore's Marvelman (before it got renmaed Miracleman for U.S. publication).
