I don't usually look at Previews so I didn't know if a solicitation has been released or not.

I absolutely loved the first two volumes but I don't wanna go digging in back issues bins for Volume 3.

I loved both Superman/Batman: Generations 1 and 2, but unfortunately this one left me in the dust. The story wasn't that great, but on top of that, the magic of the first two wasn't really there. The catch of the first two was the development of continuity, reflecting the mentioned era's general comic book tone (ex. goofy 50's, dark 80's). I feel Byrne missed it that time around, but of course, it doesn't mean he can't do a part 4 ;)

I agree. The Generations well had been dipped once too many times. The first two were gold, but three was just so all over the place.
