It's a coverless issue of Hot Stuff but I'm not sure of the time frame. (Since it's coverless it could very well be a later issue after Harvey started putting the house ads up front.

The stories are...
Hot Stuff in "Horace and Morris"
A two page untitled Stumbo story
HS in "The Little Green Demon"
A page with two gag strips (Sinbad the Sailor & Simple Simon)
Rags Rabbit in "Sea Scrape"
A 1 page Spooky strip.
HS in "Ice Cold Hot Stuff"
A pair of text stories (The Unafraid Cat & Lesson in Love)
Stumbo in "Cloudy Skies"

If it helps, the only house ads in the whole book (only ads, period) are at the bottom of the text stories. A Generic ad for Casper (not even a real cover in the ad) with the copyright "Harvey Famous Cartoons" and a "Now on Sale" ad for Spooky showing a cover of Spooky coming up through a bird nest on top of a moutain to scare the mother bird.

I picked it up out of a 3 for $1 bin to pass on to a friend's little girl but now I'm curious as to when it came out.

Sean,

I don't have a clue but the folks at The Harveyville Fun Times (http://thft.home.att.net/) might.

Hi,

Mark Arnold here of "The Harveyville Fun Times!" Not sure of the book unless I go through my boxes of back issues. From the contents you describe, it sounds like an issue from the late 50s or early 60s since you mentioned generic text pieces and a "Rags Rabbit" story. It probably is an issue of "Hot Stuff", but might possibly be "Devil Kids" as well.
