In AMS #508 the priest in South America who gives powers to Eizekiel seems to have some connections to Miguel from Arana and Amazing Fantasy.
Could it be that they are one in the same? Defferent artists would draw Miguel defferently and he would have to be revised to work in Arana but it could happen. After all Eizekiel was on the wall in the Spider Societies hall of tribute or what ever.

Let me know what you think.

I like the idea that the Totem storyline wasn't completely pointless but that it gave us something to add to the Marvel Universe. As rocky of a start that Arana is having, I think she has potential.

Thanks for posting! Yes it does appear that she is having a rough start and I would hate to see her get cancel because of the creative team when she has so much potential.

Well i never had doubt that it was the same Miguel . especially since Miguel's society had ties with Ezekiel .

Off topic, I know, but nice avatar! I love dead pool.

The miguel from AMS looked really tribal and that threw me a little in recognizing him. From traditional garb to black trench coat.

This leads to the question of who was the mage and who was the hunter. Mabey Eizekiel was just a third wheel who got powers for helping the spider society get their digs at webcorps and was neither.

I know people change clothes (even in comic books) but would Miguel go to the trouble of getting in traditional clothes for the ceremonies Miguel had him do?This leads to the question of who was the mage and who was the hunter. Mabey Eizekiel was just a third wheel who got powers for helping the spider society get their digs at webcorps and was neither. That's an idea I never considered before. It'd make perfect sense, since he got his powers artificially, so he wouldn't fit into the normal process.

I don't think that the society is like the sith, one student one master. There could be several Hunters and Mages, after all, why would the society need to be so large? But I think only one initiate can be initiated per year according to the books.

I just finished the first digest on a friend's recommendation and I was surprised how much I enjoyed it, despite the panning the book's had.

And was that Spider-Woman on the wall in the offices, or was it a Hunter from an earlier time? Intriguing thought that maybe Jessica was working for them without knowing...

IIRC, wasn't there a picture of Peter there?

It is a good book given a chance. I don't remember if pete was on the wall or not, I'd have to check but Spider woman was certainly there. as for her affiliation, her powers were given/revealed by a man of some sort right? I'm not sure, but perhaps he was a Mage.

Arana is the alias of a teen girl named Anya Corazon. She has the ability to stick to walls, can jump 25 feet from a stand, can bench somewhere between 1-10 tons, she has super human agility along with a mystic, blue suit of armor that covers her body and looks a bit like a mechanized spider symbiote.
She is a latin girl with brown hair and brown eyes along with insane hair that lookslike it is being blown at a hundred miles per hour. Look at my Avatar.
She is my favorite female character! She is not another spiderwoman copy but instead a very original new character.

She was in Amazing fantasy 1-6.
