A short list that will hopefully get longer once Diamond finalizes.
DC: The New Frontier vol. 2 TP
Pre-ordered! Of course, if DC decides to collect this later on into one volume (particularly hardcover), I will have to hurt someone.
Justice League Elite #10
IMO, one of DC's best titles in recent years.
Twilight Experiment #3
Palmiotti & Gray! Really liked #1 & 2.
Alpha Flight vol. 2: Waxing Poetic TP
Funny stuff! Unfortunate casualty of trades: the "Story Thus Far..." pages. Those alone almost became worth the cost of the book.
GLA #1
Slott! If this one goes well, Dan Slott will be officially added to my "Must Stalk" list.
Incredible Hulk #80
PAD! This has been sooooooo good.
Power Pack #1
It's uhhh, for Patricia. I, mean, Patricia's niece? Yeah, that's it. Patricia's niece! Not me. Nope nope nope.
Ultimate Fantastic Four #17
Why is Ellis leaving??? Great great great stuff.
Ultimate Spider-Man #75
Wow. 75 issues already?!
Bear #8
Looshkin craziness and Bear sarcasm! :D
Strangers In Paradise #72
Crap! I never changed the address on my subscription!
True Story, Swear To God #13
This and SiP on the same day? I better buy more Kleenex. ;)
Wait for Trade

Carlo Barberi does the back-up tale in this one! It'll be nice to see him drawing in his own style again, rather than aping Bruce Timm.

Dispite Morrison not being my thin 9 times out of 10, I totally dig Zatanna and I totally dig Sook's art and I'd really love to read this. I just wish I knew how they were planning to compile the 7 Soldier's books when they are all finished up. If they'll give each individual mini a trade or try to slap them together across a few volumes. I'm really only interested in this, Pascual Ferry's MR. MIRACLE and probably Doug Mahnke's FRANKENSTEIN.
SHANNA THE SHE DEVIL #3 (OF 7) $3.50
Because Frank Cho is cool and dinosaur's rock.

OK, it's like Tracie's in my head, because she summed up my very feelings on this. If they do giant all-encompassing trades, I won't object to reding the others, but those three are the only draw for me.

Ultimate Spider-Man #75

A couple of previews came in this week:
THE WALKING DEAD isn't so much a murder mystery as it is, well, a major turning point in the series. It's not all the obvious from this issue, but there will be echoes as the characters have to face a very interesting and haunting question they hadn't considered yet.
I also recieved SEA OF RED yesterday, the vampire pirate book from Image. Don't know if it's scheduled to ship this week or not, but it is cool looking. It also uses a completely different paper stock from everything else comics are printed on these days. It's coarser, perhaps a bit heavier. It feels weird, by comparison.
Oh, but I haven't read it yet. Looks interesting, though.

JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED #8 - Neato.
AMAZING FANTASY #7 - New Scorpion? I'm in.
GLA #1 - Too weird to NOT buy.
INCREDIBLE HULK #80 - GO PAD!
MARVEL TEAM-UP #7 - I'm such a Moon Knight geek!
SPIDER-GIRL #85 - Cool!
STRANGE #5 - Let's see where this takes us.
ULTIMATE FANTASTIC FOUR #17 - I'm liking this arc a lot.
ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN #75 - Still a great read!
X-MEN UNLIMITED #8 - Saw the hype on these stories and they look cool.
STRAY BULLETS VOL 1 INNOCENCE OF NIHILISM 10TH ANN TP - SOOOO excited for this! :D
Trade Material:
DETECTIVE COMICS #805 - I really hope they wait to put all of Lapham's run in 1 HC.
SEVEN SOLDIERS ZATANNA #1 - Yup, I'm holding out for the 7 Soldiers collection.
WALKING DEAD #17 - TPB all the way.
POWER PACK #1 - maybe a digest...
SHANNA THE SHE DEVIL #3 - Frank + Shanna = :)
X-MEN FANTASTIC FOUR #5 - HC is gettin' ordered!
Oh, Augie - Sea of Red is coming out this week. Now I've just GOTTA see what the paper stock on that is like.

Aha! The full fury of The Purge hits!
Absolutely nothing of mine is shipping this week! NOTHING!
But only because Samurai Executioner and Buddha are late and Rurouni Kenshin shipped EARLY(!) As for Republic, Empire and Tales...well, they'll get here eventually, I guess.
Which is good actually, because I blew way too much money on Star Wars books last week so I actually don't have much to spend on comics this week (picked up the Episode III adaptation, Visionaries, and the Art of Episode III)

Definitely getting only one:
TRUE STORY SWEAR TO GOD #13
Possibly getting several:
DEATH JR #1 -- Ted Naifeh! But the preview I saw was only so-so.
SEA OF RED #1 -- I think I remember seeing a cool preview of this, but I may wait for TPB.
GLA #1 -- Love Slott's "She-Hulk", so I'll at least flip through this.
BEAR #8 -- I read the TPB containing the first five issue of this last week. Psychotic and scatterbrained, but fun. Though it did seem to be a little much after a while, so maybe switching to issue-by-issue would be a better way to read it. If I can dig up #6/7 somewhere in the not-too-indie-friendly local stores.

I love Bear. I bought the trade so I could give my issues to my brother, but I would never try and read a trade's worth in one sitting. Heck, I never read the single issues in one sitting. I space it out over the course of two or three days.
You can get #6 & 7 here:

Walking Dead #17 - 2 issues until I switch to trade
Hulk #80 - PAD is back
GLA #1 - Slott
Power Pack #1 - I love these characters. I'll give it a shot.
Infantry #4 - I hear Aftermath is being relaunched after issue 6. Although I like this one, I doubt I will return.
DC New Frontier Vol.2 - can't wait!
Mystique Vol.4 - maybe

I've been offline for a few days because I moved, but I'm back and happy to be here! This is a good sized comics week for me. I'm getting:
Blood of the Demon #2 - I'll read this and #1 both at the same time and then decide if I'll want to continue.
Deadshot #5
Firestorm #12 - I'm really unhappy about Dan Jolley going. I hope to see some more mainstream work from him soon.
GL: Rebirth #5 - Late.....
Lex Luthor: MOS #2 - Great art by Lee Bermejo!
HULK #80 - Both PAD and Weeks are doing a really good job with this, I hope that they both stick around for a while.
Shanna the She-Devil #3

Yeah, I spaced my reading of the TPB out over five days or so, and it was still a little much for me. But I liked it quite a bit, so one form or another I'm going to continue it.
Particular favorites: Satanic Zombie Bear, Bear B, Bear Goes Crazy Ape Bonkers and Kills a Whole Bunch of People, the Jane Austen parody "Beast and Bestiality", the giant squid bit, the "I kick your ass" doll...
"Sidekick pig knows no fear! He is not to be crossed! Or poked relentlessly in the eye, I've noticed!"

Those are some of the best. The Austen parody still has Patricia stitches. I recommend going back and re-reading random segments. I always find jokes I overlooked.
One thing I like about the regular issues over the trades is that the trades are missing the gags, editorials, and intros from the front and back inside covers. Very funny stuff.
EM, who is slowly adopting Bear-speak into his regular speech patterns
"A HA HA HA HAA oh man that was so sweet!! I wish I had a memory that lasted longer than eleven seconds so I could remember that." --Looshkin
Eric will always be burned into my skull for introducing me to the insanity that is Bear.
Stupid Eric making me crazy!
