honestly I asked James Jean to draw either gwen or MJ. didn't intend for that :evilsmile
i wonder how much more he'll add to it when he's finished.

Where do you get these pictures? Are they all from Comic conventions?

some of them were at conventions like megacon, wizard world chicago etc and some were home commissions like the james jean.
i've been collecting for almost 6-7 years

honestly dude it depends on the artist and piece.
most of mine are 11 by 17. it usual size for comic artist to work on. for an average one charachter commission 25 bucks up to 100-200 bucks. No background
for example George Perez at megacon was charging 50 bucks for head and shoulders. Full body was 150.00
some artists do freebie sketches. usually something really quick and simple.
then there's some other's like cover quality pieces. prices range 500 bucks and up.
another example off of mine. My Jim Lee Spidey/Black Cat. Cover quality bought in 2001 for $2500 bucks. now if you want something from Jim it's 5000 bucks and wait time is like a year.
it all depends. I"m fortunate that my bonus/commissions pay for this. it's an expensive hobby. i started young and small. then over time it's become bigger.
if you check out that site, there's ton's of amazing art that blows mine out of the water.

That's a nice collection, Mike. I particularly like that Spide/Doom drawing by Byrne.
Thanks for stopping by with the link!
