I pretty much gave up on snagging the issues off eBay, they always go too high for me. I hope Dark Horse does a TPB either before or around the time of The Island's release.

Scott Allie (editor for darkhorse) has posted before on the boards saying that The Third Wish will be published along with The Island in a TPB. No fears fellow hellboy fans... so unless you're a die hard comic collector and MUST have the single issues, just cool your jets and wait for the TPB to come out sometime after The Island is released.

Even cooler, that collection will be the first one to include "deleted scenes" like a DVD. Mike started the Island over three times. Each time included some finished pages. We get to see those and maybe some pencil pages.

Reminder to Scott and Mike: I'd love to see plenty of commentary with those pages as to why he changed his mind. Maybe an introductory page or two before each relating what happened during the break and how it changed his thinking.
