My son (3) is sick w/high fever and maybe strep. We're taking him to the hospital this evening to get him checked over. (I'm starting to feel like I may be catching what he has, too. Argh. I'll probably be gone a few days, Ben (Roquefort Raider) has the con. :)

At the risk of being a total geek, it's spelled "Conn."

Given the amount of discord generated on this board...I truly feel sorry for RR.

Slam is right... the Book Forum Moderator Gun is all jammed up for lack of use!

(Not that I mind anyway... I'd probably blow my own foot off if I tried to fire it).

I hope the little guy gets better quick, Solaris!

You guys took the wit right out of me. I think the most venom I've seen around here was,

nope.

none.

Literate people are awesome.

Get well Finn. :)

Hope everything is okay with the little guy Solaris.

All right...it's party time at RR's.

Thanks for being a total geek so I didn't have to.

Oh yeah, well, the Lord of the Rings trilogy is overrated.

See what I mean? I waited almost a week to respond.

I don't agree.

(sorry to be so offensive)

Well, sort of.

Thought he was through with it when his fever broke... then the stuffy nose and coughing set in. Also, both Troy and I came down with it. We're all hacking our lungs out over here. Ouch. If Finn's doesn't clear up in a couple more days, we'll be taking him to the doctor to check for other stuff, and to see if he needs an antibiotic shot.

At least I've convinced him to take his medicine, all by himself, now. I pour it into the cup, and he takes it and drinks. Much better than fighting him to take it.

You, Sir, are relieved of duty. And a good thing. I was about to go get another Mod to reign you in.
